The publication of this series of standards is a major strategic move for “go global” of Chinese Standards. This series of Standards translated by the senior experts with the HYDROCHINA Corporation and the China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute is the first batch of significant publications brought out by China Water & Power Press, under the guidance of the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China, and under the leadership of the China International Contractors Association.

This series of Standards is the first batch of China’s Hydropower Standards in English, which is the largest in number, most comprehensive and most assorted English version to date.
